Statistics: Russia’s inflation at zero in October 8–Monday
MOSCOW, Oct 16 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation was registered at zero from October 8 through Monday for a fourth week in a row, and reached 2.3% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
The buckwheat price grew 1.7%, the egg price added 0.8%, prices for pasteurized milk, butter and cookies 0.3%, meat preserves, cheese and tea 0.2%
The sugar price fell 1.4%, millet 0.8%, chicken 0.3%, mutton and wheat flour 0.2%.
Fruit and vegetable prices fell 0.8% on average.
Gasoline prices remained unchanged and diesel fuel prices rose 0.1%.
